When I was typing the first post of Sem 1, 2009..... the reflections of past events kept flowing in. Now.... my mind is dry. Maybe the holiday-ing mood has taken over me. It's been a week and a half. Another a week and a half to go before being "promoted" to Year 3 student. It seems like only yesterday I stepped foot into Monash U. Haha.... Time will never go backwards.
During the semester, I had learned about the chemistry occurring beneath biological beings. Not that X meets Y and become XX or XY. :p It's more than that. Biochemistry, that is.... or was. This unit really made my nerves went twisted and coiled in the shapes of alpha helix, beta sheets or random coils. :s I hope I WON'T have to retake it. Never.... please!

After the sparks of chemistry, processing needs to be done. With that, I learned about bioprocessing. What goes in must come out. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. Bla bla bla.... I can actually relate some of the things learned here to everyday life. Money flows in; money flows out. True! Food go in; faeces go out. True! XD Hehehe...
And another unit which I could not figure out why we had to learn all the craps 'til the end of it - lab and workplace management. It is important for those, especially scientists, to ensure the safety of themselves, others and the environment in carrying out their work for better tomorrows. As technology becomes more advanced, everything becomes as easy as "kacang putih". But, there are things we should not neglect or take for granted. I can be a mad scientist.... no problemo... but, a responsible mad scientist. LOL.

The last unit was ecology which was much elaborated in previous post.
So, that's that. Results are yet to be released. Hoping there will be no retake of any units.
